Description: his painting by Walangkura Reid Napurrula is an illustration associated with the Seven Sister's Dreaming, at Dale Creek east of Warakurna. Warakurna is near the Giles Meteorological Station, to the east of the Gibson Desert, in Western Australia near its border with South Australia. The rounells in the picture represent the campsites of a group of Napaltjarri women who are being pursued by a man of the Tjakamarra kinship subsection. The women manage to keep ahead of the man.
Biography of Artist: Walangkura Reid Napurrula was born about 1930 and is a member of Papunya Tula Artists living at Kintore in the Northern Territory, west of Alice Springs. Walangkura Reid is represented in both domestic and international collections.
