Michael Lorimer

Michael is the founding director of the New Zealand office of Grant Samuel, which was established in 1991. He has more than 20 years experience in investment banking across a wide range of industries. He has advised some of New Zealand's leading corporates including Contact Energy, Air New Zealand, UnitedNetworks and Westland and Tatua dairy companies. Michael is also a Director of RNZN Hydrographic Advisory Board and the Navy Hospital Advisory Board.
Prior to 1991, Michael was Director, Business Development for Lion Nathan and was involved with the restructuring of LD Nathan, the merger of Lion and LD Nathan, the development and implementation of the strategy to acquire Bond Brewing, the establishment of the Pepsi subsidiary in Australia and the sales of Woolworths, Oasis Industries (Coca-Cola bottler) and Quality Packers.
