Damien joined Grant Samuel in 2003. Since then, he has been involved in a broad range of strategic and corporate advisory assignments including private treaty acquisitions and divestments, private capital raisings, property advisory, public company takeovers, valuation and takeover defences. Damien specialises in advising family-owned and other privately-held businesses and is an Accredited Adviser of Family Business Australia - the peak body for family and private business in Australia.
Prior to Grant Samuel, Damien was a Senior Business Analyst with global management consultancy AT Kearney, where he was involved in a range of strategic and operational consulting assignments across the media, telecommunications, retail and financial services sectors. He was also a Director of Gersh Investment Partners, a boutique property investment banking business.
